Beer can Chicken has been around in the USA for several years, although
it sounds a little wierd it is actually the best tasting chicken you will
ever have tried !
The principle is very easy.
Take a large bird clean it, rub the skin with some herbs and mustard,
insert a clean and open can into the body
cavity and roast on the grill / in the oven. As the bird roasts from the
outside it steams from the inside producing the most succulent chicken
ever.
However there is a snag, the bird is balanced on the can of boiling
liquid and care is required to remove it from the can without either scaulding
someone or the chicken falling over & ruining the bird.

The solution is to use a beer can supporting
rack and this is now common practise.
|
|
|
|
These are available in various styles, the one we sell is stainless
steel, and import it from the USA, a cheaper version in Nickel is available
but not recommended as it tarnishes quickly.
We are the sole importers of these in the UK (as far as we know!) and
